I am a newcommer to your web site, but wanted to write that I think it’s alot of fun. I especially enjoy the videos that you make. The Kelly Clarkson lip sync is my favorite.
I just discovered your site about a week ago. I wanted to share that I had been “down in the dumps” that week. I like to write and record original music, and I also like to make short digital films. Creatively, I had been feeling like I was in a real valley for most of this summer. I had become a little too consumed with my “real” job, as well as other responsibilities. I had really been neglecting to take the time to create anyting. Then I found your website and videos! Watching how funny and entertaining they are helped to kick me out of my rut, and reminded me of what Stephen Sondheim once said (“Work is what you do for others, art is what you do for yourself.”). Anyway, I just wanted to write and say thanks. Best of luck to you. Please write back if you have time – I would love to know – 1. What kind of camera do you use for your video shoots. 2. What kind of editing software? 3. Where do you get your ideas from?
Finally, I was happy to hear that you grew up in Erie PA. I live in Angola, NY, right of the shores of Lake Erie, so we are neighbors (kind of!)

I came across your blog through one of your & Justine’s videos, which led to mommypackmylunch, and then to here. I’ve only been familiar with your work and blog for, oh, a couple of hours but for what it’s worth: many of the videos really made me laugh (thank-you for that); I’ve been amazed at your candor, depth, and sensitivity; and finally, in answer to the woodchuck question, “A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.”
